Surgeon, graduated from the Nacional University of Colombia in 1971, with postgraduate studies in Plastic Surgery from the same university, from 1974 to 1978. Did Aesthetic Surgery (Fellow visitor) in the United States, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. He is currently a member of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery, of the Iberolatinamerican Federation (ISAPS), of the International Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IPRS), and International Member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). |

He was president of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery and adjacent secretary for Colombia in the FILCAP. He is a member in the directive committee of the Teacher Foundation for Plastic Surgery of the IFPS and representative for Southamerica before the executive committee of the International Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). He founded the postgraduate Plastic Surgery teaching service in the University Samaritana Hospital, of the Javeriana University where he teaches aesthetic Surgery. |

Surgeon from the Javeriana University, where he also finished his specialty in Plastic, Aesthetic, Maxilofacial and Hand Surgery with the University Samaritana Hospital. He did part of his studies in the United States at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. and at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He worked during his training at the Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garraham Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He received an academic mention for his academic surgical achievement in the hospital from the Javeriana University and the University of Pennsylvania. |
